I was born in Seattle, Washington where I grew up with my nine brothers and sisters. I was the fifth child but first daughter—blessed or cursed at times—with four older brothers. Being the oldest girl in the family, I quickly became the second mom to my five younger siblings.
I have thought about writing for many years, but with five children of my own, I never seemed to find the time or energy. Until now! With three of my children married, and the last two about to leave the nest, I finally have more time on my hands. I am SO excited for the new adventure.
My days are now filled with writing and editing and then editing some more. I love bringing to life the many characters in my imagination. I love writing LDS Women's fiction, providing funny and inspiring stories which I hope are appealing even to those outside my faith.
I am an avid reader and always have several books waiting for me on my night stand. When I'm not reading or writing, I keep busy playing with my grandbabies, teaching piano, gardening, and preserving the fruits and vegetables from my own backyard.
